Viewpoint Fellowship Church Celebrates 30th Birthday

 Church History

In November, 1991 the Viewpoint Fellowship Church began meeting in the Fun Factory Room (Kokopelli Room). By November, 1992 it had grown and moved into the Ballroom for services. In 1992, hymnals were purchased and money was given to Mesa area charities.

In 1997 the Easter Cantata was started and risers were made. An annual potluck was held. In 1998-99 a refurbished organ was purchased for $3,255. Dee Kredit played the organ. A gospel Fest was held. 

On March 13, 2002 a new full size Samick Grand Piano was purchased for with 1/3 of the money from ViewPoint church, 1/3 of the money from anonymous donors, and 1/3 from Viewpoint resort. Sunshine Angels was started in 2002 and was under the church auspices until separation in 2012.

In 2005-06, Jan Kredit became leader of the prayer group. In 2006-07 quilts were made for the Child Crisis Center with the church buying the materials for the quilts. 

In 2013-14 New sound equipment was purchased. In 2020 the Benson Family Singers performed to over a crowd of 300 people.
